Worth its while

we look forward or we look back
not knowing where to look anymore

we work hard or we relax
til our bodies burn in the freezing sun

as the stars shine at night
our souls and spirits just wake up

Those smiles and dimples we see.
we never know if it's true

blood sweat and tears
we always put our blind eyes on it

one day we wake up, not knowing
if we did it right or wrong.

but hoping one day we realize
everything was worth its while.
